As I recently switched jobs, I had some free time in between and hence I created this website. The name “Dinhaylo” is derived from Cantonese, which means “Electrical Engineer”. I’ve always wanted to create a blog to share about the things that I experience while at work, because many of my colleagues and friends that I met at work had either switched jobs/immigrated to other countries. I love to talk and share, and hence you see the creation of this blog.

To introduce myself, I have worked in a building services consultant in the construction industry for roughly three years now. The workload in Hong Kong can be quite heavy, so I may not be able to update regularly. The main goal here is to allow myself to record and share things that I see/learn daily. After some years into my career, I can use this blog to look back and reflect on what I have learnt in the past, which I think is great for my career as well. Nonetheless, what I write can sometimes be inaccurate. If you see this, please do point out to me in the comment section. At the end of the day, engineers are about learning and improving.

Lastly, if you have any suggestions or things that you would love me to share, please feel free to leave it in the comment section. I will try my best to accommodate these requests.

Thanks a lot.
